My name is Michael Mangone. As an undergrad, I spent 25 weeks student-teaching at Jordan Middle School. During those weeks, I realized that Jordan's school district is full of enthusiastic, outstanding, and supportive faculty, staff, students, and families. I knew I had to become a part of such a community, so here I am!
Before teaching at JMS, I studied education at Bemidji State University. There, I earned twin degrees in Social Studies Education, 5-12 and Language Arts Education, 5-12.
Other than education, I spend time with my wife, Donna. Our favorite hobby is traveling, and we try and explore a new country every other year. Personally, I'm interested in history and cartography, flight simulation and video games, Pembroke Corgis, movies and animation, and auto and home repair; however, my chief passion is education!
Thanks for your time, and, of course, I'm looking forward to a great year at Jordan Middle School!
