Ms. Ruehling

My name is Lisa Ruehling, and I am a Math Teacher at Jordan Middle School. I feel honored to be part of such a wonderful school system, with a tremendous reputation for doing what is good for kids! Our staff members constantly seek new ways to make school exciting and relevant for our students.

I grew up on a farm outside LeSueur, MN. After graduating from Le Sueur High School, I attended the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN. While at St. Scholastica, I played Basketball with the Saints and graduated with my Math Degree and Teaching License in 1990. My Masters Degree was earned from St. Mary's University in 1996. My residence is in New Prague.

The 2016 - '17 School Year begins my 26th year of teaching in the Jordan School District. My teaching assignments over the years range from beginning level 7th Grade Math to Advanced Algebra. I've been at the Jordan Middle School since its start in 2004 teaching all 8th Grade Algebra. I enjoy the students I meet each year and enjoy the Jordan Community. I look forward to another great year here at JMS!
